This is what the Osaka-based racer, 28, has had to say.27 June 2024Tecmas keeps making its points in EWC Tecmas MRP BMW Racing Team’s pace and potential didn’t get the big reward in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos but the French outfit still left Belgium with more FIM Endurance World Cup points thanks in part to some rapid repair work.Starting fifth out of the Dunlop-equipped Superstock squads, Tecmas MRP BMW Racing Team moved up to second in class only for a fall to drop the #9 to an eventual 13th-place finish having spent 12 minutes in the pits while repairs were made.“Thanks to the methodical and quick work of the mechanics we returned to the track after 12 minutes to climb up to 13th position,” a team Facebook post read.Having also scored points in the 24 Heures Motos, Tecmas MRP BMW Racing Team, which features Loïc Arbel, Jan Bühn and Kenny Foray in its line-up, is 13th in the provisional Superstock standings at the halfway point of the EWC season.27 June 2024Mana-au Competition up and running with first EWC pointsMana-au Competition opened its points-scoring account in the FIM Endurance World Championship with 11th place in the Formula EWC division at Circuit de Spa-Francorhamps earlier this month.Eighteenth overall, the category points in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos were the first of the season for the Honda-powered team from France, which featured riders Samuel Trueb from Switzerland and Spaniards Marc Miralles and Christian Palomares.It’s now aiming for a top 15 overall in September’s Bol d’Or, the next event on Mana-au Competition’s EWC schedule for 2024.Mana-au Competition posted on Facebook: “We left Spa with a team more welded than ever, a motorcycle that we know is reliable and enduring and riders already ready to smash it at the Bol d'Or. We would like to thank each person allowing us to live such weeks and we hope to offer you a real top 15 in the Bol d’Or in September.”26 June 2024Rea to ‘settle the score’ with Suzuka EWC returnGino Rea has been handed an opportunity to ‘settle the score’ when the returns to Suzuka Circuit for the venue’s round of the FIM Endurance World Championship next month.Rea was seriously hurt in crash practicing for the 43rd Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race in August 2022 but battled back from head and neck injuries to make his competitive return in the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans in April.Thanks to his Wójcik Racing Team, the 34-year-old Briton will now get the chance to ride at Suzuka again when he will team up with Spaniard Isaac Viñales, who rode for Wójcik in 2023, plus one additional rider to be announced.26 June 2024TCP takes the positives from Spa EWC counterTeam TCP Racing has taken the positives out of its non-score in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos, round two of the FIM Endurnace World Championship, earlier this month.A fine fifth in the standings after the 24 Heures Motos, by placing 18th in the Superstock category at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps after lengthy repairs following a crash meant no points from the Belgian event.A Facebook post from the Dunlop-supplied team read: “We're not going to hide it, it's not the result we hoped for. The race was tough, after the fall the bike was destroyed. Our mechanics did an outstanding job getting the bike back in shape and running for the rest of the race. Marcus Delestre crossed the finish line and once again, he has secured from the top of his little endurance experience. We're leaving seventh in the championship with an even more welded team.“Every team member is indispensable, but here we really want to highlight our mechanics who put the bike back up in under 30 minutes to complete this race. We'd also like to thank all our partners who support us on this completely crazy adventure.”Marcus Delestre, Vincent Falcone and Félix Peron formed the Team TCP Racing line-up at Spa. Team TCP Racing is seventh in the FIM Endurance World Cup for Teams after two rounds.25 June 2024Motobox Kremer Racing’s EWC Spa eight is just greatMotobox Kremer Racing’s 25th season competing in the FIM Endurance World Championship continued in Belgium earlier this month when Marco Fetz, Daniel Rubin and Dominik Vincon combined to claim eighth place in Formula EWC ranking.A Facebook post from the Yamaha-powered team read: “Despite some small problems we finished with a very nice 14th place overall and eighth place in Formula EWC. The messages of support and encouragement give us the strength to continue. Thank you to all the sponsors and the Motobox Kremer Racing team near and far.”The result in the 8 Hours of Spa Motos mirrored the new-for-2024 partnership’s result in the EWC season-opening 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans in April and leaves the German outfit in eighth position in the FIM Endurance World Championship for Teams after two rounds.
